New Years 2008

On New Years Eve Alex and I went with Sara, Janice and Alina to Letna park to watch the fireworks over the city. The place we went is on a high ridge over looking the river and the city. We got to our spot about 20 minutes before midnight.
There were already fireworks going off all over the city and in the park itself over our heads. When I say all over I mean as far as the eye could see there were sporadic fireworks going off. The downtown square where my office is had a constant barrage of fireworks going off from the time we got there to watch until we left at about 20 past. I have no idea how log they had been going or how long they went on for but it was pretty amazing.
